Premium Pet Care in Metro Seattle

"Patty is a person who knows and loves animals and pets.  We used her for several years when she lived in the Bay Area to walk our dog.  He, at the time, was an intact male, so not as easy as some, although certainly loveable. She was always prompt, always showed how much she loved him (and our cat too) and always returned him as a happy dog.  She is very experienced with all kinds of dogs and is adept at dealing with them in a loving and patient way.  We couldn’t recommend her more highly!"

Experienced. Compassionate. Professional.

Patty Alexander has been involved with animals her entire life. After doing cruelty investigations for a small humane society in Oklahoma, she went on to spend 13 yrs as the Public Programs manager for a large animal rescue in Austin, TX.

Patty later moved to San Francisco where she owned and operated a boutique dog walking company. Finally, after deciding to call Seattle home Patty embarked on creating Hounds Of The Sound, a premiere dog walking and drop in pet care service which seeks to provide the Seattle Metro with safe, reliable, worry free dog walking and drop in pet care.

Patty is an experienced caregiver of both dogs and cats and doesn’t believe in a “One Size Fits All” service, but prefers instead to get to know both you and your pet so that she and her company can provide the kind of walks and care that benefits your pet individually

“Patty Alexander has continually been the best friend and best pet lover I’ve ever known! We relied on Patty to live in our home in Marin County and take care of our two dogs and our cat. The animals never realized we were away with Patty there! She is a pet whisperer, and has such a calming presence for otherwise hyperactive pets. She walked my dogs daily for years, taking them on mountain paths, beaches, and through neighborhoods. When she was unable to personally walk them she introduced me to some of her friends and colleagues, who were exceptional, through the direction of Patty. She sent photos of every adventure our pets participated in and anybody would be lucky to have her services! We miss her every day, but our pets never had the quality of care and love that she provided. They most certainly miss her and her friendship and care”.
